As Editor-In-Chief it is my great pleasure and honour to welcome you to the International Journal of Chemical Sciences

The International Journal of Chemical Sciences (ISSN 0972-768 X provide a platform for scholars to share their findings and ideas in various areas of Chemistry. Simultaneously, they also provide a platform for scholars and researchers to discover the latest innovations in their field through publication.

With each passing year, the number of people publishing their researches is increasing, and so is the number of scholars. As it is open access journals, the scholars are free to access their topics of interest from among these published articles for their references. Abstracts of all topics of published manuscripts will be presented by the first glance of the article.

 International Journal of Chemical Sciences serve as a cradle for the genesis of new ideas pertaining to novel possibilities in the field such as: development/synthesis of new therapeutic molecules, development/synthesis of new materials or alloys to be used in mining or infrastructure, development of new methodologies for conducting chemical reactions, or identification of new elements in the periodic table having novel properties etc.

Pharmaceutical chemistry is the discovery, design and synthesis of potential new drugs. Pharmaceutical chemistry is the development of these into optimized drugs that can be sold as pharmaceuticals. 

The discovery and design of drugs requires an understanding of the biology of a disease to find an effective target for the drug, and will often involve computer-based in silicon discovery and design of the drug structure.

Research in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry also includes the synthesis of the designed drugs, the optimization of their structures and action, and the development of methods for producing the drugs on a larger scale; these are challenging tasks which involve working in multidisciplinary teams with other members of the pharmacy research team as well as biologists, mathematicians and engineers.

This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.
